Calcium (Ca)

Phytic acid combines with Calcium and reduces its absorption. Low Calcium:Potassium ratio indicates excessive catabolism (tissue protein breakdown). Deficiency in Calcium and Magnesium is typical of ADHD. Calcium loss from the body can become so advanced that severe osteoporosis can develop without appreciable changes in blood calcium levels.

Magnesium (Mg)

Magnesium is required for normal muscular function, especially the heart. A deficiency has been associated with an increased incidence of heart attacks, anxiety and nervousness. Deficiency in Calcium and Magnesium is typical of ADHD.

Sodium (Na)

Excessive Sodium can lead to acidity which can affect brain development, which can lead to ADHD. Excess sodium is also associated with hypertension, but adequate amounts are required for normal health.

Potassium (K)

Excessive Potassium can lead to restless behaviors like those in ADHD. It also indicates food allergies(chronic inflammation), which can lead to mental lethargy.

Copper (Cu)

Copper availability in the body is hindered by an excess of iron and zinc intake

Depression

MDD subjects expressed higher theta and alpha coherence primarily in longer distance connections between frontopolar and temporal or parietooccipital regions, and higher beta coherence primarily in connections within and between electrodes overlying the dorsolateral prefrontal cortical (DLPFC) or temporal regions.[1]

ADHD

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat. Aenean faucibus nibh et justo cursus id rutrum lorem imperdiet. Nunc ut sem vitae risus tristique posuere.

Theta

Theta oscillations play a significant role in memory function, with modulated coupling of theta oscillations between the prefrontal, parietal, and temporal cortices prominently involved in memory encoding and recall.

Mu Rhythm

However, the female relative to the male participant displayed stronger mu suppressions when watching hand actions whereas both of them showed similarly trivial suppressions when observing a moving dot. (Reduction in mu rhythmn is greater in females compared to males when watching a person do something). Training to reduce mu rhythm may increase empathy towards others?
